How to get on and off the local bus

When using a rail pass for payment

Check the bus destination that shows the display on the bus's front and side to make sure it's the right one. And then get on the bus from the rear door.
Take a numbered ticket from the machine(整理券発行機) next to the door when you get on the bus.
When your stop is announced, push the getting-off button nearest you to inform the driver.
After showing the rail pass and a numbered ticket to the driver, put the numbered ticket in the farebox installed next to the driver's seat and get off.

When using an IC card for payment

When your stop is announced, push the getting-off button nearest you to inform the driver.
Check the fare. (The fare displays the fare table at the front of the bus. Pay the amount that corresponds to the number on your numbered ticket.)
Put your numbered ticket into the farebox installed next to the driver's seat. After that, tap your IC card against the IC card reader.

When your stop is announced, push the getting-off button nearest you to inform the driver.
Check the fare. (The fare displays the fare table at the front of the bus. Pay the amount that corresponds to the number on your numbered ticket.)
Put your numbered ticket and fare into the farebox installed next to the driver's seat.
